By Air
Malaysia Airline System (MAS)- There is at least six flights a day to Langkawi. You are advised to make early arrangement in order to guaranty your seat.

Train
Express Trains – From Kuala Lumpur Railway Station (to be continued)

By Road

Express Buses – There is many bus expresses to the north such as Transnasional, Mutiara etc. Make sure your direction is either to Alor Star (from Alor Star, there is plenty of bus or taxi ride to Kuala Kedah) or Kuala Perlis where the ferry terminal start to Langkawi.

By Sea

From Kuala Kedah – just pay RM 15.00 nett adult for one hour forty five minutes journey cross over to Langkawi Island . Every trip will be every an hour till the last boat at 1900 hrs.

From Kuala Perlis – cost you RM 12.00 nett for adult and RM 10.00 for children with the distance of 15 km and spending your time approximately one hour journey. Trip to the island is more often in every thirty minutes.

From Penang – depart from Penang at 0800 hours everyday will take approximately two hours fifteen minutes to be in Langkawi Island with the cost at RM 35.00 one way and RM 65.00 return.

From Satun Thailand – if you are landed in Thailand and planning to visit Langkawi, what you should do is; go to Satun by taxi or bus and then step on the boat to Langkawi after purchased boat ticket. It won't take long, only two hours journey.
